An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, December 7, 2016 as a 60-day follow-up to an IPOC (Intense Plan of Correction). The Inspector arrived at 12:50 pm and concluded the inspection at 1:45 pm. Upon the Inspector's arrival, children were observed napping. All areas addressed in the IPOC were reviewed. The indoor jungle gym has been blocked off and notices posted stating that it is not to be used until it can be evaluated by an authorized dealer for repairs. The outdoor playgrounds were inspected and renovations were noted. Repairs were completed on the school bus. Documentation of check lists were reviewed along with two children's records. Currently no more then five children under the age of two and a half years of age are permitted for enrollment. A door for direct egress has been installed and upon completion a new certificate of occupancy will need to be submitted to the Department.
The following ratios were observed: Observations were taken during the nap time period.
Two year classroom: 8 children with 1 staff
Three year classroom: 7 children with 1 staff
Four year classroom: 11 children with 2 staff
