Comments:
Today an unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 3pm. There were 26 children present today with the supervisor and assistant teacher. Children were observed listening to announcements, playing outside on the playground, washing hands, and preparing for their holiday party. Five children's records were reviewed today. Staff records are reviewed annually in the administrative office. Four medications and authorizations were also reviewed. This inspection, including the exit interview, ended at 4:10pm. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: Based on direct observation, a hazardous substance is not locked away while not in use. Evidence: A cleaning solution was located on top of a storage cabinet, out of children's reach but not in a locked place.

Plan of Correction: We will lock away cleaning solutions when we are not actively using them.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-G
Description: Based on direct observation, a substitute container with a cleaning solution did not have a label indicating its contents.

Plan of Correction: We will get a label from the custodian or handwrite a label.
