An unannounced non mandated subsidy health and safety inspection. There were 31 children in care with seven staff members supervising the children. The center signed the subsidy agreement on October 29, 2016. The center will add all missing components to the emergency plan and will practice two lock down drills a year. In the future any child with a food allergy will have a doctor's plan.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based on review of 14 staff records, the center failed to ensure that all staff had the pre service training within 90 days of signing the subsidy agreement. Evidence: 1. The inspector found that seven out of the fourteen staff did not have the pre service training. The subsidy agreement was signed 10/29/2016. 2. The inspector found that six staff out of fourteen staff did not have first aid and CPR training. Plan of Correction: The administrator will have all remaining staff to have the 10 hour training and first aid and CPR training ASAP.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-3 Description: Based on review of the emergency preparedness plan, the center failed to ensure the lockdown plan was included. Evidence: 1. The inspector found that the lock down plan has not been added to the emergency plan. Plan of Correction: The center will add the lock down plan to the emergency plan.
