Discussed requirements for nutrition.
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today. Observed 9 children directly supervised by 5 staff members. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Operational responsibilities, children's information, caregiver training and development, parental involvement and notifications, nutrition and food services, general record keeping and reports, hazardous substances, emergency procedures, and transportation and field trips were reviewed. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: outdoor play, free play, and gym. An area of non-compliance is identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the Site Director. Inspection conducted from approximately 5:30pm to 6:00pm. Evidence: Five of the six children's records reviewed did not contain a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy (Child A, B, C, D, and E).
