Discussed a hole beginning to form in the wall beside a cable input.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:15am-11:15am. There were 34 children (2 yrs.-5yrs.) directly supervised by 8 staff and 4 parent helpers. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in circle time discussing safe transportation, playing outside with a parachute, driving cars through paint and then taking them to a "car wash", and creating super heroes in the art room. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Megan Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
