Standard #: 22VAC40-185-290-3 Description: Based on observation of a preschool room, the program does not have protective covers on all electrical outlets. Evidence: 1. Program has a surge protector type of outlet plugged into the wall that allows 6 plugs. One had an outlet cover, and one outlet was used for a musical keyboard. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-340-F Description: Based on observation, the staff did not ensure children remained in sight and sound supervision when two children were observed leaving the classroom where nap started, walking around the corner and on the opposite side of the building without staff supervision. Evidence: 1. Staff allowed the two children to leave and get water but the kids walked into another class and walked around to where the stair case is and were not in sight. 2.
