Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced renewal inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on May 30, 2017 from 10:20 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. through 6:00p.m. On this date, there were forty-three (43) children in the care of five (5) staff members. Five (5) children's records and five (5) staff records were reviewed and updated. There are one-hundred twenty-seven (127) children enrolled in this program. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Risk scores were discussed. Areas observed were arrival, hand washing/bathroom procedures, snack, and transition, outside play, indoor play and departure. All interactions between staff and children were appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with the daily routine. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1
Description: The evacuation plan did not address procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Evidence: Based on review of emergency plan and conversation with the director, it was confirmed the evacuation plan did not include how the center would reunite students with parents.

Plan of Correction: We are working on this requirement and will include it in our emergency plan. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-2
Description: The shelter-in-place plan did not address procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Evidence: Based on review of the shelter-in-place plan and conversation with the director, it was confirmed the evacuation plan did not include how the center would reunite students with parents.

Plan of Correction: We are working on this requirement and will include it in our emergency plan. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector.
