An unannounced health and safety inspection was conducted from 9:30 am - 12:15 pm. There were 89 children in care being supervised by 16 staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play, art activities, table top activities, and gross motor activities. Lunch served today is cheeseburger on bun, peaches, broccoli, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight staff records were reviewed. The emergency escape plan was reviewed and in compliance. Nine medications were reviewed and in compliance. There are currently four staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. All staff on site are CPR and First Aid certified and have obtained the Virginia Pre-Service Training.
