An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:00am-12:00pm. There were 57 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 9 staff. The physical plant, 6 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, singing and dancing, reading books, and eating snack. Snack served for the day was pineapples and milk. Infants were observed being held and bottle fed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Leah Pagala at email@example.com or (703) 537-6757.
