Licensing Inspector arrived at 11:50am and departed at 3:30pm to conduct a subsidy health and safety inspection in conjunctions with an unannounced monitoring visit. At the end of the inspection, there were 60 children in care with 10 staff. Infant care was observation and children were observed eating breakfast and returning from a field trip. The sample size was six staff and six children's records. A violation was cited in the area of staff qualifications and training.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1 Description: Based on review of six staff records, it was determined that the vendor did not ensure that within 30 days all staff have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of the children in care. Evidence: Staff #2, date of hire 5/15/2017, did not have completed CPR. Plan of Correction: Center management will ensure staff member is trained.
