An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on September 20, 2017. There were 51 children observed with six staff members and four volunteers. Additional staff and volunteers were on site for administrative and support purposes. The children were observed participating in circle time, playing in centers and during outdoor play. Five children's records and two medications were reviewed. Exit interview conducted with Center Coordinator/Lead Teacher.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, in one of five children's records reviewed, the licensee did not ensure that each enrolled child's record is maintained with all required information. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on September 20, 2017, the record for Child #4, had one of two required names, addresses, and phone numbers of a person to contact in the event of an emergency where the parent cannot be reached. Plan of Correction: The teacher contacted the parent while the inspector was present. It was corrected during the inspection. We will make sure that we double check the records and all emergency contacts are added.
