An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with center director and staff. There were twenty school age children present with three staff supervising. The children were playing outdoors and came in to eat afternoon snack. Snack served today: turkey and cheese sandwiches with water to drink. Centers included board games, housekeeping, and Legos. One emergency medication was reviewed and is in compliance. Three children's files were reviewed and are in compliance. Three staff files were reviewed - please see Supplemental Summary for missing items. The last health inspection was conducted 3/30/2017. The last fire inspection was conducted 1/10/2017. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on three staff files, the facility failed to have all documentation required in each file. Evidence: Staff C did not have documentation of two references prior to hire in the file. Plan of Correction: Center director will check with central office to see if references have been checked.
