An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 7:15 am - 9:00 am. There were 45 children in care being supervised by 4 staff members. The children were observed participating in crafts, structured center play, cooperative games, and eating breakfast. Breakfast served today is Pancakes, cereal, egg pop, oranges, milk, fruit juice. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training and are in compliance. Five medication's were reviewed. There are currently two staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. The Emergency Preparedness Plan was reviewed and in compliance. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-5 Description: Based on review of ten children's records it was determined that the center did not ensure an action plan was on file for each child with a documented food allergy. Evidence: Child A, B, C, and D are stated to have food allergies. There was no documentation on file indicating action to take if the children come into contact with the specific food allergen. Plan of Correction: Administration will request an allergy action plan from the parents of Child A, B, C, and D.
