An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 7:35am-9:05am. There were 35 school-agers directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff training records, 4 children's records (reviewed 5 but one child was no longer in care), medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed arriving to care, participating in individual and group activities. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Please complete the "plan of correction" and "date to be corrected" for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 10 calendar days from today. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-F Description: Based on review, the facility failed to ensure that all staff members had documentation of current First Aid and CPR. Evidence: Reviewed 5 staff training records and found that 1) Staff 2 and 3 did not have documentation of current First Aid training. 2) Staff 2 and 4 did not have documentation of current CPR training.
