Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 7:15 am - 9:00 am. There were 21 children in care being supervised by two staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play. Breakfast served today was apple, cereal, milk, and juice. Ten children's records were reviewed. Two staff records were reviewed. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 11/17/2017. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed and in compliance. Children's food allergies were posted and accompanied an allergy action plan. All staff members on site are certified in CPR, First Aid, and have completed the Virginia Pre-Service Training. There are two staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Four medications were reviewed and in compliance.
