Discussed the recent code changes with background checks.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 53 children with 10 staff present. Children were observed having circle time, reviewing the days of the week, discussing the Madeline book and the country of France. Infants were being held while being fed and and experiencing tummy time. Snowmen crafts were displayed in classrooms and children were talking about the weather. A total of 10 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed this date. Thank you for your cooperation this date. This inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 12:45pm. Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on a review of 5 staff records, 2 staff did not have all central registry searches completed. Evidence: Staff #1 and #2 have lived outside of the state of Virginia in the past five years. An out of state central registry search was not requested on both of these staff. Plan of Correction: Will request an out of state central registry search will be requested on both of these staff.
