An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:10am-12:10pm. There inspection included the observation of one classroom with 21 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff training records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed reading, playing games and on personal electronic devices. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and positive staff and child interactions were observed throughout the inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A Description: Based on record review, not all children's records had documentation of receiving the immunizations required by the State Board of Health before the child can attend the center. Evidence: Child 2's record did not contain documentation of immunizations. Plan of Correction: We will ask the parents to provide documentation of immunizations.
