63.2 Child Abuse and Neglect
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 12:30pm-1:30pm. There were 17 children in care directly supervised by 3 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed brushing their teeth and napping. One new staff member has been hired since the last inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on observation, an annual fire inspection was not conducted at least annually. Evidence: The last fire inspection occurred October 27th 2016 and expired November 1st 2017. There was no fire inspection conducted in 2017. Plan of Correction: I will call the Campagna office
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-M Description: Based on record review, minor injury logs were incomplete. Evidence: 2 of 3 minor injury logs were missing the future action to prevent recurrence of the injury. Plan of Correction: Staff will complete this section in the future.
