Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. At the time of entrance the following adult to child ratios were observed: Room A: 12 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 2 staff Room B: 13 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 2 staff Room C: 10 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 1 staff Room D: 9 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 1 staff Room E. 16 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 2 staff Room F: 13 children, ages 3 to 5 years, with 2 staff The records sample size consisted of 8 children?s records. Staff records are maintained off site and will be reviewed at a separate inspection. Children were observed playing in learning centers (housekeeping, art, puzzles, blocks and construction, sand table, library) exercising and dancing to music at circle time, singing, writing, painting, and engaged on 1 on 1 learning and assessment with staff. Food service, table sanitizing, and hand washing were also observed. Children ate lunch consisting of Meatloaf, brown rice, lima beans, diced mangos and milk. Medication administration was not observed. Staff in each classroom confirmed that there are no enrolled children being administered medication at this time and that there have been no accidents or injuries incurred by children in care which required medical treatment or first aid care.
