Discussed two additional staff members completing the Virginia Preservice Training within 90 days of their date of hire.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on March 9, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of inspection, 12 children (two years through five years) were directly supervised by 3 staff and ratios were in compliance. Children were observed transitioning from the playground and engaged in writing and drawing activities. Staff were up to date in CPR and First Aid training and a staff member was on site with Daily Health Observation training. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violation was found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and is identified on the violation notice.
