During the inspection, the licensing representative discussed with administrator annual updates needed for children in the coming weeks, a child in need of updated immunizations, and a medication authorization that expires soon.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:15am-1:00pm. At the time of entrance, 42 children were in care of 9 staff members present. Children were observed during arts and crafts in preparation for their St. Patricks Day celebration. Handwashing, toileting and transitions to lunch and naptime were observed. Children in the Toddler 1 room were observed interacting in Spanish, along with positive and nurturing behavioral guidance. A selection of 5 staff and 5 children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice.
