A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/27/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:15am and ended at 12:00pm. There were 14 staff with 70 children in 4 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed being given instructions from the staff. The children then split up into groups. Children were observed reading, working on arts and crafts, making a large Dr. Seuss hat pinata and playing in the gymnasium. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant was inspected. There were four medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email with questions at:

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A
Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, it was determined that the plan is not complete. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not include reunification and lockdown procedures.

Plan of Correction: We have a lockdown plan and the staff are well trained on how to reunite the children with parents in the event of an emergency. It's not documented. I will get on the computer today and type it.
