Description: Based on review and interview, children from three years to the age of eligibility to attend public school (five years by September 30), were not in a ratio of one staff member for every 10 children. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (03/27/2018), it was determined that on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 8:20 am, within the Preschool room, there was a "combined" room of the Preschool and Pre-K groups. 2. Based on the Child Supervision Record (CSR) of the same date, at 8:20 am, there were a total of 15 children with Staff #1 within this room with the both groups. 3. Based on this same CSR, the room fell out of ratio at 7:53 am and continued to be out of ration until Staff #2 arrived at 8:21 am. 4. The Center Director stated (during an interview on the date of inspection) that several staff had called out or were out on that day.

Plan of Correction: Staff to child ratios will be met at all times during center operating hours; to include: morning drop-off, during the school day, nap time, and after-noon pick-up times. Where and when applicable, staff scheduling hours shall be adjusted, additional staff hired, and center administrative staff to help out in the classroom.
