An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 7:00 am - 8:30 am. There were 28 children in care being supervised by 4 staff members. The children were observed participating in table top activities and eating breakfast. Breakfast served today is egg and cheese sandwich, pear, cereal bar, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Five medications were reviewed. There are currently three staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G Description: Based on review of five medications it was determined that not all procedures in regards to administering prescription medications were followed. Evidence: The medication authorization form for an emergency medication for Child A did not accompany a parent signature. Plan of Correction: Administration will request the parent of Child A sign the medication authorization form.
