Comments:
An announced initial inspection was conducted today from 9:30am to 12:25pm. No children were in care and no staff have been hired. The physical space, 10 classrooms, the multipurpose room, the playground area, first aid supplies, the Emergency Preparedness plan, menu, 8 cribs (manufactured 04/2013), changing tables and owner records were reviewed. One infant room and one 3 year old room will not open until enrollment requires. Policies and procedures were discussed. Required documents were posted in each room. An abundance of developmentally appropriate materials were available in each classroom. The facility is a Lean to Green school, focusing on recycling and the environment. Solar panels are on the roof and a fenced in area for gardening is adjacent to the playground area. The curriculum is focused on the earth and environment. No violations were cited today.
