Medication for Child #5 listed as plan of action but needs to be available.
An unannounced inspection was conducted at 450 PM. There were 36 children present with 3 staff. The CS was not present for the inspection and center staff were able to answer questions related to licensing. Hand washing, transition, crafts, and group play were observed. Medication, emergency drills, and emergency info was reviewed and deemed current. Please call with questions 703 479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review of children's files, the center has not maintained complete files. Evidence: 1. Child #3's file does not list the mother's employer and the work numbers are blank. 2. Child #4's file has an agreement that has not been signed by the parent. 3. Child #5's file lists a serious food allergy but there is not a plan of action. The parent wrote that the child should be given Benedryl but there is no medication stored at the school.
