An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 9:15 AM. There were twenty-five school age children in care during the inspection. The children were observed playing basketball, playing with Legos, and drawing. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of plain bagel and cream cheese, assorted fruit, and milk. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Eight children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 4/13/18. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 11/30/18. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 1/29/18. The most recent health inspection was documented as 11/14/17.
