Comments:

An unannounced mandated renewal inspection took place on October 11, 2019, from 9:45 am to 12:15 pm at Wishing Well Adoption and Family Services located at 2504 Breezy Point Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23453. The agency reports two families approved and waiting for placement and three families receiving post placement supervision services. During this inspection, three adoptive home records, one child record, and one personnel record were reviewed. In compliance with licensing requirements for renewal application, all documentation for managers of the limited liability company were reviewed, including required background checks. The Executive Director was available for the inspection and present for the exit interview at the end of the day. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Licensed Child-Placing Agencies. An acknowledgment of Inspection form was signed by the Executive Director on 10/11/2019.
