An unannounced monitoring inspection took place on July 25, 2019 from 9:10 am to 3:50 pm at Bethany Christian Services, located at 8100 Three Chopt Rd., Suite 220, Richmond, Virginia 23229. The agency reports 25 families approved and waiting for placement. The Adoptions Specialist was available for the inspection and exit interview, which commenced on 7/25/19 at 3:00 pm. During this inspection, three adoptive home records and one adoptive child record was reviewed. Background checks for one additional adoptive home was reviewed. Personnel files were not reviewed, as there have been no new hires since date of last inspection. There were no citations for violation of the Standards for Child Placing Agencies.
