An unannounced renewal inspection took place on August 28, 2019, 2019 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at the offices of Adoptions Simply Wonderful, Inc., located at 2936 Brierwood Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Presently, there are seven approved provider homes. There are no children in post-placement supervision by this agency. The Executive Director was available for the inspection and present for the exit interview at the end of the day. During this inspection, five adoptive home records and one personnel record were reviewed. In compliance with licensing requirements for renewal application, all documentation for corporate board officers and agents of the corporation were reviewed, including required background checks. There were no citations for violations of the Standards for Child Placing Agencies. An Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed on this date.
