Comments:

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/20/2021 and concluded on 09/22/2021. The Virginia District Supervisor was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The Virginia District Supervisor reported that the agency currently has 4 children in their custody and 25 families approved and waiting for placement. The inspector emailed the Virginia District Supervisor a list of items required to complete the remote documentation review portion of the inspection. The inspector reviewed three (3) adoptive home records and one (1) birth parent/child file submitted by the agency to ensure documentation was complete. An exit interview was conducted with Virginia District Supervisor on 09/22/2021, where findings were reviewed and an opportunity was given for questions, as well as for providing any information or documentation which was not available during the inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
