The Virginia Child Protection Accountability System collects and makes available to the public information on the response to reported cases of child abuse and neglect in the Commonwealth pursuant to the law outlined in § 63.2-1530. Refer to code § 63.2-1530 for more information on the legislation that was passed by the General Assembly to provide citizens with child protection and accountability data.
