NextGen FIRST (Family Income Resources Support Training) is a free, voluntary program that helps parents who owe child support overcome employment challenges, build job skills and work toward a more stable future.

Our Case Advisors work with you to understand your needs, develop a personalized plan and connect you with employment services, training and other resources to help you move forward.

What Can NextGen FIRST Do for You?

NextGen FIRST works with workforce partners to help you:

  • Explore job options: Get help with your job search and learn about job leads.
  • Build job skills: Find job training and classes to learn new skills.
  • Plan your next steps: Work with a job coach to set goals and make a plan.
  • Get support: Find help with needs such as housing, rides to work or driver's license issues.
